Our thoughts on Scream 5

Scream 5 is a much-anticipated sequel to the classic horror franchise. The film follows a group of friends who are targeted by a new masked killer. While the film has its moments, it ultimately falls flat.

The biggest problem with Scream 5 is that it feels too much like a rehash of the previous films. The new killer, while visually interesting, doesn’t bring anything new to the table. Additionally, the film’s characters are thinly drawn and forgettable. We never really get to know them or care about them.

That said, there are still some good things about Scream 5. The kills are creative and gory, and there are a few good scares throughout. If you’re a fan of the franchise, you’ll probably find something to enjoy here. But if you’re looking for something fresh and innovative, you’ll likely be disappointed.
