In a swampy area of Florida, scientists drill the ground under a pond and reach a cavity never touched by man, which contains microorganisms dating back to the prehistoric age. Suddenly the ground collapses taking with it all the researchers who disappear underground.
After a while the crocodiles, legitimate inhabitants of those areas, pour into the crater and one of these comes into contact with the ancient microbes, invisible to the human eye, which had lived in that cave for millennia.
After a while, a huge giant crocodile rises to the surface and begins to attack the city creating chaos. The researcher Amy Irwin, a survivor of the catastrophe, is aware that in that being of abnormal dimensions there is the possibility of obtaining great progress in science, but she will have to fight against the police who have the sole objective of destroying the creature.
